Explore the design movement from Mondrian to Dutch Design. The De Stijl movement started in 1971 in Leiden, after Theo van Doesburg created a magazine named ‘De Stijl’. Artists of De Stijl are in search of ‘new art’ that simultaneously will modernise society.
Today, many Dutch artists are still inspired by De Stijl movement.
